Monica Kelly

Monica Kelly is a registered nurse (RN) and aesthetic injector at BOYD, where she sees patients at the Birmingham, Ann Arbor, and downtown Detroit locations. Before moving into aesthetics, she worked in ICU settings in Chicago and Denver. She then spent two years at a medical spa in Denver, where she trained in aesthetics with an emphasis on full facial balancing and natural-looking results. After returning to Michigan, she joined BOYD.

Her training includes time with Dr. Charles M. Boyd and other leaders in aesthetic medicine, along with advanced study in the field. She offers injectable treatments including neurotoxin, filler, Sculptra, and PRF. She also uses PRF for undereyes and hair rejuvenation, and many patients come to her with tired-looking under-eyes or a wish for a refresh. Sculptra is her favorite treatment at BOYD, with MOXI and BBL laser following close behind.

Her results are built gradually over time so they look natural. Patients have described her in reviews on the site as honest, attentive listeners who deliver natural results. Dr. Boyd has said she combines deep clinical experience with an eye for balance and subtlety.
