Molly Mikesell

Molly Mikesell owns Hairamedics Salon, founded in 2002, where she works as a master stylist. Her career started in 1998 at La Jolla Atelier Salon, where she trained under Tommy Aucoin and Tanner Harold until 2002, and she now has more than twenty years in the field. From 1999 to 2002 she taught haircutting and color for Rusk, and she then spent a decade at Model Call Salon in La Jolla. Her high-profile work includes serving as lead stylist for the Charger Girls in 2007 and 2008, where she wrote the squad's color formulas, and as lead stylist for San Diego's City Ballet from 2009 to 2011, designing and supervising hairstyles for major productions. Her styling credits also include Anna Deavere Smith, 944 Magazine and Project Runway, and since 2001 she has worked with longtime client DJ Miss Lisa on album covers and photo shoots. Wella named her Top Stylist in a 2013 photo shoot contest, and Wella International listed her among the Top 3 Stylists in 7 States. Since 2018 she has been National Color Educator and Technical Advisor for Oligo Professionnel, a role that takes her across the country to train fellow professionals in styling and color. Her specialties include color correction and bleach-free highlights.
