Misty Wright

Misty Wright is a family nurse practitioner who holds the NP-C and FNP-C credentials and works as a certified weight-loss clinician. She is certified in obesity medicine and completed advanced training in that field. She graduated from Gaston College and Winston-Salem State University with a BSN, and earned her MSN and nurse practitioner degree from the University of Southern Indiana in 2014.

With more than 25 years of experience as a family nurse practitioner, she has worked mostly in the Cleveland and Gaston County areas and has cared for patients of all ages, from primary care through critical illness and traumatic injury. Since becoming an NP she has subspecialized in internal and emergency medicine. Her focus includes wellness and disease prevention, and she performs CO2 laser treatments and vein sclerotherapy at the practice, which she counts among her favorite procedures.
