Missy

Missy is a colorist, owner and educator at The Highlighting Salon, with a career of more than 30 years. She has owned eight hair salons and has grown her client base across different locations and types of clientele. She holds five licenses in five different US states and specializes in highlights and blonding. She trained at Toni & Guy in Dallas and Los Angeles, Vidal Sassoon in Los Angeles, Paul Mitchell in San Diego and Hawaii, Redken and L'Oreal in New York, Yuko Systems in Beverly Hills, and with Beth Minardi in Chicago. She also has hair extension training from Bellami, Sarah Page and Dream Catchers, and many celebrity hairdressers have mentored her over the course of her career. As a salon business and technical educator, she teaches peers both online and in person. She currently works from Jupiter, Florida, with appointments also available in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii and Wilmington, North Carolina.
