Mikaela M

Mikaela M is a Holistic Hair Artist at the studio. She began working in the beauty industry in 2005 as a shampoo assistant in Oxon Hill and worked as a barber in Miami, where she became skilled in fades and tapers. She trained at Paul Mitchell The School Tysons, graduating in 2010, and earned a Master Reiki Degree in 2017.

Her specialties are precision cutting and creative color placement, along with highlighting including balayage, baby lights, foiliage and retro styles. She also works in blowouts, marcels and silk presses, and has a particular interest in seamless color melts. She works especially with women and children, with the aim of helping them feel strong, confident and heard.
