Michele Horwich, RN

Michele Horwich, RN, works as a registered nurse at the practice. For over 25 years she has worked with Dr. Jeffrey Klein and Dr. Norma Kassardjian. She has performed infiltration of local anesthesia on thousands of patients and knows tumescent injection technique in depth. The practice reports that she and about 10 other registered nurses have given tumescent local anesthetic to over 10,000 patients without complications. She created the nurses' liposuction course in 1996, held alongside Dr. Klein's Tumescent Liposuction Course for Physicians, and has trained hundreds of physicians and nurses in perioperative tasks, including hands-on infiltration. She was Director of Nursing for over 15 years and has been AAAHC coordinator since 2002. Since 2015 she has also worked as an independent nurse consultant for tumescent liposuction, travelling to help physicians who took the course open their practices and train staff. She became certified in SculpSure lipolysis when the FDA approved it in 2015, and has performed hundreds of treatments.
