Michael Cudworth

Michael Cudworth, MD, FACS, is a physician who is board-certified in general and bariatric surgery. The American Board of Surgery has given him a Focused Practice Designation in bariatric surgery, and he is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. His medical degree comes from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. His surgical training includes a general surgery residency at the University of Illinois Chicago and a fellowship in minimally invasive and bariatric surgery at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. He has also held leadership positions within healthcare systems. At Hialeah Hospital he serves as Medical Director of The Center for Weight Loss Surgery. His surgical work covers bariatric, gastrointestinal, robotic and hernia procedures.
