Melissa Robinson

Melissa Robinson owns Blush Beauty Bar Salon and works as an industry published editorial hairstylist, certified trichologist, hair distributor and founder of the Heart 4 U Foundation. She graduated from Dudley's Beauty Academy and was licensed as a cosmetologist in 1996. She then worked in several salons to build experience before becoming a Senior Cosmetologist in 2008.

From 2014 she worked as a platform artist and educator for product companies, teaching salon product training classes and presenting at trade shows. Her work has been featured in Vogue, Harper's Bazaar and at NY Fashion Week, and she has styled for the 2019 BET Awards. Clients have included Keenyah Hill, runner-up on America's Next Top Model, April Walker and Jessica Angel White. She also shoots runway and editorial projects alongside fashion and entertainment professionals.

Her specialties are hair extensions, hair coloring and hair cutting. She makes wig prostheses with patients, doctors, insurance companies and hair loss groups, and she runs apprenticeships in the salon for unlicensed hairstylists working toward state board licensing.
