About
Meghna Patel is the Director of Aesthetics at Aesthetica Skin Care. She holds an esthetics certification from the Aveda Institute in Chicago and degrees in counseling, psychology, cultural diversity and biochemistry. She keeps up with advanced classes and her own study of inflammatory skin conditions, chemistry and ingredients.
She has studied inflammatory skin conditions for over 15 years and has developed customized acne treatment plans over more than 12 years. Her work covers acne, rosacea, aging and pigmentation, for clients of all ages and for clients in other countries. She created the Aesthetica Acne Care program in 2021 and developed the 12-week Art of Aesthetica Assistantship Program to train estheticians.
She builds personalized plans, which she calls skinscriptions, using targeted, ingredient-based products. Her acne plans focus on the triggers that activate acne bacteria rather than on prescription antibiotics.
