Megan Bertke, MD

Megan Bertke, MD, founded Aesthetic South and performs all procedures, consultations and follow-up appointments at the practice. She is a board-certified emergency medicine physician and still practices emergency medicine part time. Her interest shifted toward aesthetics in 2019.

She trained at the University of Louisville School of Medicine and is a certified injector. Her training includes specialty certifications in numerous aesthetic procedures, advanced injectable courses, one-on-one training with national expert injectors, and training specific to the skin care products the practice offers.

Clients can expect a full facial consultation and a personalized treatment plan, with an emphasis on safety, patient education and natural-looking results. She personally researches and trials each skin care line before it is offered, and uses only FDA-approved toxins and hyaluronic acid fillers.
