About
Mav Hale co-owns Painted Manes and works there as a hairstylist, having co-created the salon with Whitney Karpoff. He trained at Paul Mitchell The School, starting in 2016, and worked in the hair industry for about seven years before opening the salon.
He specializes in hand-tied and K-tip extensions and in blonding, and works with hand-tied wefts, keratin tips and tape-ins. Clients often come to him for major volume, length or a subtle upgrade.
Appointments are meant to be a good time, with snacks offered during the visit.
