About
Matty Pettitt owns Matthew Robert Salon, where he works as owner, artistic director and stylist. He decided in September 2020 to open his own salon, and is in his 17th year in the hair industry. He cuts and styles all lengths and textures. He was formerly an educator at Moxie Hair Salon, training apprentices under Stephen Adams. His extension work covers Keratin Fusion and Keratin Microfusion, invisible beaded hand-tied and machine weft extensions, and tape-in extensions. In color, he handles dimensional work such as retouching, foiling, balayage and hairpainting, blends gray into natural shades, and lightens darker hair. Most of his book is regular and returning clients, so he takes new guests only from a waitlist.
