Matthew Felix

Matthew Felix is an ER-trained physician assistant at Instant Urgent Care. He works in diagnostics and primary care, and his clinical specialties include urgent care, emergency medicine, acute injury care, preventive medicine and adult and pediatric common conditions. He welcomes primary care patients, particularly those interested in preventive medicine and education-focused care.

He can treat sprains, strains, fractures needing X-ray, lacerations requiring stitches, burns, allergic reactions and minor head injuries. He completed a two-year emergency room bootcamp in Las Vegas, Nevada. He speaks English. He believes that knowing what is going on with your body is one of the most powerful tools in medicine, and he works to share that understanding with patients.

He is board-certified as a physician assistant through the NCCPA Physician Assistant Board and is a licensed physician assistant in California who can prescribe the full range of medications. He earned a physician assistant degree from the University of St. Francis in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and a bachelor of science from Allegany College.
