Matthew Dillard

Matthew Dillard is a master colorist and stylist at the salon in Prosper, Texas, which he established. He has seven years of experience behind the chair. He trained with the color houses L'Oréal, Redken, Goldwell and Schwarzkopf, and at the Vidal Sassoon Academy and Toni & Guy. He is a certified hand-tied extension specialist, a balayage specialist, a blonding specialist, a grey blending specialist in Prosper and a women's haircut specialist in Prosper.

His color work covers balayage, dimensional highlights, precision highlights and all-over color, along with blonding and gray blending. For gray blending clients he builds a personalized color plan in consultation and works with professional color lines, choosing the house, series and tone for each client.

He also installs hand-tied and Genius Weft extensions. Each install begins with a personalized consultation to assess hair type, density and goals, and the hand-tied foundation is built in a beaded row system fitted to the client's head shape. He has developed a haircut philosophy based on intention rather than imitation.
