Maryann Thomas

Maryann Thomas is a Family Nurse Practitioner with FNP-C credentials at Comprehensive Laser & Aesthetics. She began her nursing career in 2012 as a bedside nurse in the Neuro ICU at The Medical Center, Navicent Health, in Georgia. She became that unit's nurse educator in 2014 and contributed to its Magnet re-designation and Stroke accreditation efforts. From 2016 she provided outpatient neurology care at Emory Healthcare's Brain Health Center. After moving to Maryland, she worked at a laser center and then a dermatology office before joining the practice.

Her training includes a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Bachelor's in Healthcare Management from Clayton State University in 2010, and a Master of Science in Nursing and Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Walden University, completed in 2020. She specializes in aesthetic medicine with a focus on patients of color, and she is especially interested in treating people of color while enhancing each client's natural features.
