Martina runs The Nail Fairy, a program that gives manicures to children in hospitals. For more than ten years she has visited young patients dealing with serious illness, starting at Mary Bridge Children's Hospital in Tacoma and now also going to Seattle Children's Hospital. Her visits also reach local nursing homes and community gatherings. Coverage of her work has appeared in USA Today's Inspiration Nation, South Sound Magazine, NAILS Magazine and The News Tribune. Nail polish and supplies for the program can be mailed to the studio address.
