About
Marquita Cook founded Pure Bella Corporation and Pure Bella LLC and leads the salon as its lead esthetician. Her interest in makeup started about ten years ago during her service in the US Navy. After that she worked as a makeup artist on local news stations, on LA runways, and on movie and reality TV sets, and she returned to Atlanta in late 2012 to work as a mobile makeup artist. In October 2013 she launched Body Mpressions, an online weight-loss and fitness products company.
She trained at The Elaine Sterling Institute, graduating in 2013, and at Institut DERMed, where she earned a Medi-Clinical and Cosmedical Esthetician Certification. She recently graduated from the Georgia Career Institute. She is a Georgia state-board licensed esthetician and a licensed laser practitioner, and she is expected to become a licensed massage therapist.
Marquita specializes in advanced skincare, including anti-aging methods, and in ethnic skin care. She also specializes in treating and minimizing hyperpigmentation. Clients describe her as an exceptional esthetician.
