Markita Holloway is the owner of Studio 6 Salon & Spa and works as a master hair stylist there. She graduated from Career Beauty School in 1996 and is a licensed cosmetology instructor, a role she has held for 30 years.
She opened Studio 6 Salon in 1997 and ran it for about three years before expanding into the full-service salon and spa in 2000.
She was recognized at the 2008 Martin Luther King Jr. King Dream Award as a Trail Blazer and entrepreneur.
