Markena Tillman

Markena Tillman owns Opulent BeYouty Salon and works as a Master Stylist. She is also a Licensed Trichologist and a cosmetology instructor, and she is a professor in the Cosmetology Department at Houston Community College. Outside the salon she speaks with young girls about hair care and self-esteem.

Her focus is trichology for women with hair loss, including loss linked to improper styling, stress, and medical conditions. She works to pinpoint what is behind hair and scalp concerns and builds personalized treatment plans from them, and she also offers advanced scalp therapies and custom wig-making. She designs signature cuts shaped to each client's facial features.

She teaches clients how to care for their hair between visits, listens closely, and welcomes constructive feedback. She puts weight on continuing education and growth, and she enjoys meeting new people and building long-term friendships with clients. The hair loss clinic aims to serve women of every background.
