Mark Abbott founded Bolus Med Spa, where he serves as medical director and leads its medical and advanced aesthetic treatment programs across laser, injectable and general medical aesthetic care. He is a nurse practitioner and board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner, with listed credentials of MSN, CRNP and FNP-BC. At the practice he is also the lead injector for dermal fillers and neuromodulators and works as a laser specialist.
He began his healthcare career in 1992, first as an EMT and medic, then as a respiratory therapist, a nurse and finally a nurse practitioner. He has worked in emergency medicine, urgent care, family medicine, telehealth, hormone and metabolic medicine, and medical aesthetics. He has more than 30 years in clinical practice.
His treatment offerings include laser and energy-based procedures, injectable aesthetics, regenerative treatments, and full aesthetic evaluations that come with a treatment plan. His laser work addresses skin rejuvenation, hair removal, scar revision, and pigmentation and vascular lesions, with wavelengths and settings matched to skin type and clinical goals.
