About
Marja-Liisa Neylon owns Hälsa, The Aromatherapy Shop, and also works there as a massage therapist. She studied therapeutic massage and reflexology at the Göteborg Gymnastika institut in Gothenburg, Sweden, and later trained at the Alternative Medicinska institut in Stockholm, Sweden.
Her further training covers infant massage, Mari-El, Hakomi principles, deep tissue massage and aromatherapy. For aromatherapy, she completed certification courses taught by Marcel Lavabre, who founded Aroma Vera, and by Kurt Schnaubelt of the Pacific Institute of Aromatherapy. She is certified as a massage therapist, a certified aromatherapist and a certified PUSH therapist, and she belongs to the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA).
She has deep knowledge of essential oils and has developed several of the house blends sold in the shop. She also teaches the Massage for Couples private seminar along with other classes.
