Marin Johannah is the owner and stylist of One Painted Pony. She has worked in the beauty industry for over 20 years and focuses on brunette hair and wavy or curly hair. Before hairstyling, she worked as a DJ.
She moved back to San Diego from Los Angeles in 2014 and opened One Painted Pony after a few years of building a clientele. She works with brunettes and with others with trickier hair textures who have not found a regular salon. Her approach is holistic, with the aim that clients feel good inside and out, and she supports brands that are earth and animal friendly.
