Mari

Mari is a Master Designer with more than 20 years of experience as a stylist. She began her career in San Francisco under Yoshimitsu Toya at Yosh for Hair on Maiden Lane and spent 12 years there, rising to Master Stylist, platform artist and educator training new stylists.

She later moved to New York City, working at Mark Garrison Salon on Fifth Avenue and Rodney Cutler Salon in Soho. Her New York work included editorial shoots and styling for New York Fashion Week, including for Ford Models and Wilhelmina. She specializes in razor cutting and precision cutting, drawing on barbering skills, and has returned to Salon Nine on Maiden Lane.
