Margareth Pierre-Louis

She holds the founder and medical director roles at both Twin Cities Dermatology Center and Equation Medical Spa & Skin Care. She is board-certified in dermatology and dermatopathology, holds a Diplomate credential from the American Board of Dermatology, and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and of FASDP. She also belongs to the American Medical Association. Her training spans Duke University, the University of North Carolina School of Medicine, Duke's Fuqua School of Business, Hennepin County Medical Center, the University of Minnesota Medical Center and Washington University in St Louis School of Medicine, and includes a dermatology residency and a dermatopathology fellowship. More than 12 years of clinical work have been spent in both academic and private practice, with focus areas in inflammatory skin conditions, pigmentation disorders, hair loss and dermatologic wellness. She originated the Visible Wellness concept, designed the Visible Wellness Oxygen Facial and the Blood Drop Facial, and developed the Equation Skin Care line. She wrote Hair Loss Could Save Your Life!, which explores how hair loss relates to general health. Outlets including USA Today, PBS NewsHour, ABC News, HuffPost and Dermatologist Magazine have featured her, and she works as a media expert and public speaker on dermatology and skin health. She has earned several Top Doctor honors and is nationally recognized.
