About

Marcia is an acupuncturist at Back 2 Perfect in Pleasant Hill, where she offers Japanese acupuncture, a gentler approach that relies on fine needles and hands-on palpation to assess and treat. She has been practicing for over 15 years, and her training includes study in Japan. She holds a California license to practice acupuncture and an NCCAOM Diplomat designation.

Beyond acupuncture, Marcia is specially certified in Japanese acupuncture, Reiki, hypnotherapeutic visualization, QiGong and TuiNa, and she is certified in clinical hypnotherapy. Her sessions pair relaxation and breathwork with gentle needle insertions, and she uses visual imaging during treatment.

Her signature Japanese acupuncture bliss treatment leaves clients in a deep state of rest. A first visit lasts 90 minutes and covers an initial consultation, a full assessment and a first treatment. Follow-up treatments run one hour and address post-op pain, fatigue, injuries and other targeted needs. To book, clients text 510-295-3630. Acupuncture supports the body's capacity to heal itself.
