About
Mallory Vorhees is a holistic hairstylist in Portland, Oregon, working at Gilded Fox Salon. She began in hair with a cosmetology apprenticeship at a Wisconsin salon right after high school and spent her first ten years in a salon there, also working as a trainer, educator and artistic director.
In 2016 she joined Pure in Nashville. In early 2020 she became independent and joined a group of independent artists in East Nashville. She moved to Portland in April 2021 and joined Gilded Fox Salon, and she plans to keep holding pop-ups in Milwaukee while based in Portland.
Her focus is perms and shaping wavy and curly hair, and she also does color work. She recommends simple, non-toxic products and routines suited to each client's hair and lifestyle.
