Mairead is the lead practitioner at The UnSpa and a licensed esthetician. Every treatment at the studio is given by her, one client at a time, and she answers inquiries herself, typically within a few hours. Clients can text her to book, and she confirms each appointment herself. Her work centers on adult skin. She has years of experience with women in adulthood whose skin shifted in their 30s, hormonal acne among them, and her acne work covers hormonal breakouts and adult acne in grown women. She also builds anti-aging plans for fine lines, firmness and texture, working with women from their late 20s through their 50s. Before writing a plan she examines the skin under magnification, assesses barrier health and patterns, and considers life stage, and she asks questions at consultations that many practitioners skip. She does every lash and brow service herself, with professional-grade products and hands-on work. For microneedling she adjusts depth and intensity to each client's skin tolerance and goals, and for Collagen Reboot she reaches out herself within 24 hours to judge whether it suits a prospective client.
