Mai

Mai runs The Nail Atelier as its sole nail artist, performing every appointment personally. Her specialties are gel application and custom nail art. She opened the studio in October 2017, bringing together her interests in beauty and photography. Her formal training is in art and design: she completed a program at the Penny Stamps School of Art and Design at the University of Michigan, with a focus on photography and graphic design. Outside the studio, she works as a portrait and content photographer. She has also advised salons on marketing and taught other nail artists dry manicure technique and custom nail art.
