About
Maggie Varney is the President and Owner of Go Green Salon and the founder and CEO of Maggie's Wigs 4 Kids of Michigan, which she started in 2003. She has been a licensed cosmetologist for more than 40 years and has owned several salons over that time.
She has spent the past 30 years teaching appearance-related skills to patients dealing with side effects of cancer treatment through the American Cancer Society's Look Good Feel Better program. She has also worked as a platform artist and educator on national and international design teams.
Her specialties are special occasion hair and hair restoration. She has taken classes on environmentally friendly practices in the beauty industry.
