Lyle Kaku

Lyle Kaku is Executive Chef at Willows Lodge, where he oversees Barking Frog, the Fireside Lounge, and Banquets and Catering. He stepped into this role at the lodge in 2024 and brings more than 24 years in hospitality. Earlier, he cooked under Wolfgang Puck at Spago at Caesars Palace and at Four Seasons Maui, and he also worked at Chinois and Postrio. While at Vintner Grill, he represented that restaurant at the James Beard House, and he earned local accolades there. His first Executive Chef position followed work helping rebrand operations at Sahara Hotel. Before arriving at Willows Lodge, he ran kitchens at Turtle Bay Resort, SLS Hotel, Hyatt Regency New Orleans and Fairmont San Francisco.
