Lukenya Pointer

Lukenya Pointer is the owner and a stylist at Hautte Artistry Studio in Memphis. She has been a licensed stylist for over 14 years and trained at Plaza Beauty School of Cosmetology, where she graduated. She also took cosmetology classes in high school. Before opening her own studio, she worked at Gould's, Trade Secret (Regis), Healthy Hair Solutions, Yourie Lifestyle Suites and Textures Studio. She styles every hair texture, from long and short cuts to natural curls and relaxed straight hair. She keeps up with her education and studies new trends and techniques. Her focus is on detail and on keeping the hair healthy. She takes time to understand what each client wants from a service and shapes the result around how the client lives day to day. Building client relationships matters to her, and seeing clients transform is the part of the job she finds most rewarding. Clients praise how quickly and efficiently she gets them in and out of the salon, and she aims to satisfy every client.
