Luana

Luana is the owner of La Vida Salon and Spa in East Hanover, New Jersey, where she also works as a hair transformation artist. She has nearly a decade of experience as a stylist. Her path into the industry started with part-time beauty school at age 24, followed by 600 hours of training before she began assisting at a large salon. Within a year of assisting she was working as a junior stylist, focusing on blowouts. She then worked on commission at a smaller salon in Parsippany, New Jersey, and later opened her own suite at Wayne Sola Studios once suite salons became legal in the state. She then moved to a suite in Madison, New Jersey. She began offering educational classes in 2022 and leads the HairByLuana Education program, where she teaches a signature foil technique. In early 2024 she launched the Fearless Power Podcast with a close friend.
