Lorraine Massey

Lorraine Massey is the owner of Spiral (x,y,z) and the sole owner of the CurlyWorld product line. In 1993 she opened Devachan in New York City, and she later launched the Devacurl line. A few years after Devachan opened, she introduced No(Sham)Poo, a 100% sulfate free product line. She is the author of three books: Curly Girl: The Handbook, Silver Hair: The Handbook and Curly Kids: The Handbook. She developed the Curly Girl Method and the Curl by Curl method, and she teaches Curl by Curl through workshops and classes, including classes abroad. An updated, expanded edition of Curly Girl: The Handbook is planned.
