Edward Joseph

Edward Joseph is a stylist and colorist at Spiral (x,y,z). He has worked as a hairstylist and colorist for over 21 years and trained directly under Lorraine Massey. He specializes in curly hair, was one of the original curly hair stylists, and has developed products for curly hair applications.

He has designed hair for Broadway shows and contributed to editorial photoshoots and books, including Curly Girl: The Handbook. He developed Color by Curl, his own hair painting technique suited to all curl types and textures, and teaches Curl by Curl Cutting and Color by Curl at Spiral (x,y,z) and elsewhere. He has taught in workshops across the country and has joined the CurlyWorld team.
