About
Lola Gbenjo owns and founded Tai-Lo, and she holds a Master cosmetologist license along with Certified Makeup Artist status. She aims to leave every client looking and feeling their best. After relocating to Atlanta in 2012, she trained at Paul Mitchell The School Atlanta and earned a Master Cosmetology credential there. She also completed a diploma in beauty therapy and makeup artistry at the London School of Beauty and Makeup. Before that, she earned a bachelor's degree in Economics and a master's degree in Business Information Systems in England. She began focusing on makeup more seriously in 2008, and crochet braids are one of her specialties, including a signature style she developed herself. Her film and television work started during school, when she interned on Fast and Furious 7. She later began working with the Atlanta CW television station and now works on five shows, among them Focus Atlanta and Rise Up, a weekly program for the Atlanta Falcons. She also opened a makeup and hair studio plus spa in Nigeria, where she has worked on local movies and television shows.
