Lindsay Axelrod

Lindsay Axelrod has worked in the beauty industry for 17 years and is a stylist at Pixiedot Salon. She specializes in blonding, including balayage, baby lights and platinum, and cuts trendy styles. She offers six extension methods and makeup services, and enjoys meeting new clients and finding a style that suits each person's life and personality.

Her career began in Hollywood, doing hair and makeup for film and television. She then worked in editorial print in Milan and provided backstage hair and makeup for fashion weeks in Milan, Paris and New York. She also did hair and makeup for the Al Jazeera international news network in NYC.

She taught education at the TIGI Advanced Academy in Soho, and later opened a salon in Washington DC while serving as head of makeup at a Middle Eastern broadcasting network. She has lived in San Diego for eight years and worked at Maida salon in Little Italy.
