He is a stylist at Hair by Lee in Orange Park. He chaired the organizing committee for Kutting for Kids, a citywide cut-a-thon collecting hair donations for Locks of Love, from 2001 to 2015.
He sponsored and helped restore the barber shop aboard the USS Orleck (DD 886) in Jacksonville, which opened to the public in fall 2022. He brought Kutting for Kids back to the ship on June 25, 2023, where the event raised $16,780 for restoring the ship's youth berthing and living spaces. He plans to open the ship's barber shop for free haircuts in 2024 and is recruiting volunteer barbers and cosmetologists.
