About
Laurie Gerardin owns Expressions by Laurie and works as a stylist there. Her hair career started early, when she worked as a salon assistant with Rita North while still in middle school.
She trained at cosmetology school in the afternoons during her senior year of high school and completed formal cosmetology training shortly after graduating. She holds a cosmetology license.
After training she rented a chair at a local salon and built her own clientele there. In 1999, at age 21, she opened Expressions by Laurie.
