Laura Rawson

Laura Rawson is a Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine and a Breema practitioner and instructor at Lifespan Health. She has practiced Chinese medicine for over 25 years. She is board-certified by the California Acupuncture Board and nationally certified in acupuncture and Chinese herbology through the NCCAOM. Her training includes a master's in Traditional Chinese Medicine, completed in 1996 at the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in San Francisco, and a Doctorate of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in San Diego. She also holds a BA in Asian Languages and Literature and an MA in Asian Civilizations, both from the University of Iowa. Her clinical work addresses digestive disorders, hormonal imbalances, anxiety, depression, addiction recovery, and chronic and acute pain. She provides acupuncture and herbal medicine consultations, Breema bodywork and Neuro Emotional Technique sessions. She is also a certified Neuro Emotional Technique practitioner, an Acutonics practitioner, a diplomate of the National Board of Acupuncture Orthopedics, and a graduate of the Kressler Institute for Functional and Evolutionary Medicine.
