Laura Nadeau, known to clients as Lo, owns Lo & Co. and works as a professional makeup artist in Virginia Beach, where she serves clients throughout Hampton Roads. She started her makeup business in 2006 and relocated from New York City to Virginia Beach roughly eight years ago. Her skills were sharpened at the Bobbi Brown counter inside Bloomingdale's flagship store in New York City. Bridal work is what she loves most, and she also takes on on-camera makeup for television and photo shoots, men's grooming, beauty writing and spray tanning. She has worked as an on-air beauty expert and has appeared on national TV more than 35 times as a beauty and wedding expert, with credits including The Dr. Phil Show, Man Caves and Love and Hip Hop.
She regularly contributes to Makeup.com and previously wrote content for RealTechniques.com, where she published more than 400 posts. She has guest-blogged for WeddingBee Pro and Our Wedding Day. Bride's Local Mag, Consumer Reports, Real Techniques and Makeup.com have all quoted her as a source on beauty. In 2009 she did hair and makeup for Anna Sui at Target's Fall Fashion Week. Her commercial and corporate clients include USA Today, Deutsche Bank, BB&T and Navy Exchange.
