Laura Moore

Laura Moore launched Health at Hand Bodywork + Esthetics and has worked in bodywork and skin care since 1998, including more than 26 years as a massage therapist. She completed her massage schooling at the Chicago School of Massage Therapy in 1998, logging over 2000 hours of instruction. She holds a Colorado esthetician license and the Licensed Massage Therapist credential, and she uses the credentials LMT, LE and CST. Her massage practice focuses on chronic pain and physical dysfunction, offering clinical and sports massage for chronic pain and injury, along with Ashiatsu (barefoot massage) and Shiatsu. Her training includes a Myofascial Certification from the Chicago School of Massage Therapy (1999), advanced Ashiatsu Oriental Bar Therapy training (2006), and Zen Shiatsu Certification from the Boulder College of Massage Therapy (2009). Since 2020 she has been training through the Upledger Institute in Cranio-Sacral Therapy and Somatic Emotional Release, and she is a certified Upledger Institute CST practitioner. Her esthetics training began with an esthetician certification and Colorado state license from the College of International Esthetics in 2013. Advanced certificates in chemical peels, dermaplaning and microneedling came from the Northern Colorado Advanced Aesthetics Academy, as did 40 hours of Advanced Laser Light Certification and medical esthetics certificates in microdermabrasion and chemical resurfacing. In 2023 she became a certified AviClear Acne Laser technician. Her skin care approach is clinical and results-oriented, with attention to the conditions of Colorado's high-altitude climate. She is working through a comprehensive Balanced Body Pilates program that started in 2022. Completed certificates include Mat 1, Reformer 1, Reformer 2, Movement Principles and Reformer 3 rehab, and she plans to offer private instruction and small group classes.
