About
LaTonya Taylor runs Made-up My Grind and works there as lead makeup artist. She has taken classes with seasoned makeup professionals covering the business side of the field as well as current tools and trends. Before turning to makeup, she spent 14 years as a business analyst in corporate America. She has since freelanced in makeup exclusively. She was the number one assistant to Emmy award-winning makeup artist Reggie Wells, and her work has appeared in Munaluchi Bride and Black Bride, with a feature on Turf Valley's wedding website. Her specialties are beauty makeup and bridal makeup. She has taught makeup classes throughout the DMV and offers one-on-one lessons.
