Kristen Whiting

Kristen Whiting is the owner and licensed esthetician at Silk Body Waxing Studio. She has owned the studio since it opened in 2013, and she performs every appointment there as its solo esthetician.

She has been licensed as an esthetician since 2008 and has been waxing since before that, with more than 17 years of professional waxing experience. Her work centers on body waxing for women and men in the Philadelphia area, and she also offers Brazilians, face waxing and intimate-area waxing. She has waxed thousands of clients with a wide range of hair textures, skin tones, body types and comfort levels.

She sets the pace of each visit, moving from quick to slower with more guidance as the client prefers. She gives extra attention to hairs that are easy to miss, and clients often point to how thorough, steady and approachable she is for first-time waxes.
