Kristen Bowman

Kristen Bowman owns July Skincare and works there as an esthetician, with 15 years of experience working with skin. Her focus is tailoring each treatment to a client's specific skin concerns. Body treatments can address acne, discoloration, dryness, flakiness, keratosis pilaris and the prevention of ingrown hairs. She trained at the first esthetician school in Pismo Beach and trained in a massage therapy program in San Diego. She began esthetics training after high school graduation. Early in her career she was offered the lead esthetician role at one of her jobs. She also worked as a CNA on a hospital unit while continuing as an esthetician, and during the COVID-19 pandemic she brought spa treatments to hospital patients who could not receive visitors. She builds trust with clients through honesty and education, and after assessment at the consultation she sets a clear treatment plan. She stays with clients for as long as they need ongoing skincare support, and she finds it especially rewarding to help clients who had given up on their skin.
