About
Kisa Powell is the stylist at C.O.D.A. Curls and specializes in curly and natural hair, covering cutting, styling and color. She began cosmetology school during her junior and senior years of high school and received a cosmetology license in 2009. After 2010 she worked full-time at Supercuts, and later refocused on cosmetology and began building a deaf-friendly salon culture. She serves both deaf and hearing clients.
Her training includes a Cut it Kinky Level 1 certification, RËZO Cut Level One, and the Curls, Curls, Curls Masterclass by Curls by Sunflowers and Scissors. She is also a certified colorist with Forever Curls with Leysa Carrillo.
