Kimberly Lee directs the Kimberly Lee MD facial plastic surgery center in Beverly Hills and operates there as its surgeon. She works as a facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon and as an ear, nose and throat specialist. Since 2009 she has been an attending surgeon in the otolaryngology division at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, and she holds an assistant clinical professorship in the head and neck surgery division at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center.

Her training started at Stanford University School of Medicine and continued with a UCLA general surgery internship, an otolaryngology-head and neck surgery residency at UCLA, and a fellowship in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery at the Center for Facial and Nasal Surgery. That fellowship covered surgical, non-surgical, minimally invasive and laser procedures. Throughout her career she has focused on the cosmetic and functional treatment of the face and neck, and she has studied Asian facial anatomy extensively. Her surgical work includes facial rejuvenation, facelifts, rhinoplasty, blepharoplasty and Asian blepharoplasty, as well as ethnic plastic surgery, facial paralysis reconstruction, nasal reconstruction and head and neck cancer reconstruction.

She also trains other clinicians. She is a national trainer for several dermal filler manufacturers, and according to the practice, Allergan and Galderma sought her out to teach injection technique. Her work has been featured in People Magazine, the Associated Press, the Los Angeles Times and the San Jose Mercury News, and she has been interviewed for press conferences with ABC, NBC and CBS. In 1997 Stanford University gave her the Lloyd W. Dinkelspiel Award. Her publications include book chapters on Asian rhinoplasty, septoplasty and short flap SMAS rhytidectomy.
