About
Kimberly J. Lee leads the Beverly Hills Facial Plastic Surgery Center, which she has directed since 2010, and works as a facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon who also practices as an ear, nose and throat specialist. Since 2009 she has been an attending surgeon at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, and that same year she took up a faculty appointment as Assistant Clinical Professor with the head and neck surgery division at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center. Her career has centered on cosmetic and functional concerns of the face and neck.
Stanford awarded her a bachelor's degree in biological sciences with honors, and she went on to earn her medical degree at Stanford University School of Medicine. At UCLA she completed a general surgery internship and an otolaryngology-head and neck surgery residency, serving a year as chief resident. A fellowship in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery at the Center for Facial and Nasal Surgery followed in 2009 and 2010, covering surgical, non-surgical and minimally invasive procedures as well as laser treatments. She is board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and holds a California Physician and Surgeon license.
Her surgical practice includes facelifts, eyelid surgery, brow lifts, rhinoplasty and revision rhinoplasty, chin augmentation, buccal fat removal, V-line surgery, Asian blepharoplasty, and reconstruction following facial paralysis, nasal problems and head and neck cancer. According to the site, she also corrects complex injectable work performed by other injectors. Planning starts with an assessment of each patient's chin, jaw and facial anatomy, and 3D imaging is used to set expectations. Allergan and Galderma chose her to train other medical professionals in advanced injection techniques, and she serves as a national trainer for dermal fillers.
She has co-authored publications on Asian rhinoplasty and dimple creation and has published peer-reviewed research on head and neck and facial plastic surgery. She speaks English, Korean and medical Spanish. According to the site, she has been interviewed by ABC, NBC and CBS, featured in People Magazine and the Associated Press, and named a Leader of Influence by the Los Angeles Business Journal in 2022.
