About
Kenny Chantasi, DO, founded PrimeCell, where he serves as medical director. He holds board certification in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and in Pain Medicine from the American Osteopathic Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and he is a member of that board. He was included in the Elite Doctors 2026 feature from Orlando Style Magazine.
He received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine, and his internship and residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation were completed at Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow, New York. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Fairleigh Dickinson University. He has completed aesthetic certification training and is certified in bioidentical hormone replacement therapy. He holds a Florida osteopathic physician license (OS22127) and a New York license (259456).
Following residency, he worked at Columbia University Irving Medical Center and NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital in New York City. He is a former Assistant Professor of Rehabilitation and Regenerative Medicine at Columbia, and he previously served as department chair and medical director of Sanford Rehabilitation Hospital in Fargo, North Dakota, part of Sanford Health. He was also a former Clinical Associate Professor at the University of North Dakota. His hospital work covered patients recovering from stroke, spinal cord injury and traumatic injury. He has lectured and given professional talks, and he contributed to the Oxford American Handbook of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
His clinical emphasis is regenerative and interventional pain treatment, including ultrasound-guided injections and PRP, for conditions of the spine, knee, hip, shoulder, tendons, ligaments and peripheral neuropathy. He also gives aesthetic neurotoxin injections, dosed to each patient's facial movement, and offers Korean-inspired skin care, hormone therapy and medical weight management. He begins by investigating the source of a problem and builds a plan around the least invasive option that fits. Ultrasound is used when it answers a specific clinical question. He works with patients to set measurable goals across function, comfort, health, confidence and quality of life. Patients seeking a longer-term physician relationship can choose concierge and membership care. He evaluates and injects children aged 2 and older for spasticity, with written consent from a parent or legal guardian.
