Kayla Baretto

Kayla Baretto owns Colorist Kayla and works as its colorist. She moved into hair work about a decade ago after five years as a social worker in community service. Her training includes advanced hand painting and balayage, and she holds a Certified Wella Master Color Expert credential. She earned degrees in social work and fine arts at Arizona State University. Her specialties are color, hair loss and thinning, and scalp health, and she also works in editorial hair. Her clients are often busy women looking for science-backed care, and she builds care plans that cover hair health and keep appointments efficient. Beyond the chair, she is an ambassador for the Megix10 color line and works as a Hairstylist Business Consultant through Slice Squad Consulting, where she teaches other stylists. She also offers stylist mentorship and coaching.
