About
Katy Ryan owns the studio and works as its master colorist, with color ranging from natural effects to creative combinations. She launched the studio in 2015 and began working in Colorado in 2024 while continuing to work in New York City. Her training began at the Aveda Institute in Soho, New York, where she studied cosmetology. She worked for years at The Marie Robinson Salon, side by side with colorists Marie Robinson and Bryan Thomson-DiPalma. She later joined Lasio Studios, now Keratin Lounge, as Head Colorist and served there as one of its Master Keratin Specialists. She is certified in Lasio and Cezanne smoothing treatments and has worked with keratins for over seven years. Her clients have included Bette Midler, Lily Collins, Tory Burch, Patti Hansen and Mary Louise Parker. She was featured in the March 2017 issue of Marie Claire, in an article on her curly hair dry cuts.
